When you first open DAZ3D you will be presented with this screen.
Taking the in program lessons is a very good start to learning the program.
If you install more than DAZ3D the program will open with a premade avatar click on the avatar and hit delete.
First step is to load the Base obj files:
We will use HM_Head.ojb, HM_Upperbody_Nude.obj, and HM_Lowerbody_Nude.obj
Select File - Import or drag and drop the obj files from source folder into the program. If you are designing for attachment texture, you will need to import the necessary mesh files into the program.
Browse to your stored OBJ file and select the one you want to work with.
Do not click "Accept" right away. You need to make some adjustment here change the Scale to be 33% (you can save that preset for future use).
Click "Accept".
Repeat for each OBJ file you want to load.
You can rotate or move around with the tools inside the red box:
Click on the obj file you want to use. On the menu or on the avatar.
That body part will highlight with orange.
Click on the drop down menu for Diffuse Color
